Japan names Fujisaki as new envoy to U.S., Ebihara to Britain

TOKYO, Japan - The Japanese government on April 1 appointed Ichiro Fujisaki (C in file photo) as new ambassador to the United States and Shin Ebihara (R in file photo) as ambassador to Britain. Shinichi Kitajima (L in file photo), former ambassador to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, was named to succeed Fujisaki as ambassador of Japan's permanent mission in Geneva.
